Trade-Off

Developed for the Jingle Jam 2024 Game Jam

Trade-Off is a co-op rogue-like game where players work together to fight of swarms of festive cats and collect coins on timed levels, thrown in with a whole mixture of Yogscast flavoring! Every item, upgrade, and weapon will cost you something - Money, Health, Defence, your screen ... Who knows?

While Trade-Off can be played solo, it's best played (and balanced) as a local couch-co-op game on either mouse & keyboard or controller, with up to 4 players.

During levels, players will face waves of enemies, which drop coins on death. These contribute to the players' progress towards their goal, but can also be spent on new relics, weapons, trinkets, and heals.

With each completed level, the amount of money players need to collect increases, as does the time allowed to do so, and the cost of items. Collected coins carry over between levels, but if players ever fail to reach the required goal before the timer runs out, it's game over!

Reach your donation goals  by sacrificing whatever you can afford to lose, or face the consequences!

If you want to start the game with all skins unlocked (because who can be bothered?), download the "Cheat Save File" option, then place the file in "C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\LocalLow\DirectDeleteGames\Trade-Off", replacing any files with the same name.
