Everybody talks...
Today; a quick update on Portal 64 development. Currently progress into chapter 2 and it's featuring mechanics is slow and difficult, so don't expect any news on it for a while now. Instead, focus has been shifted to improving the core mechanics of the current game, particularly dialogue and the level-editor!
Shown below is a preview of the new dialogue system, which now displays characters in a typical RPG appearance and is better suited for editing and writing new lines than the older system.
Also previewed here is a sneak peek at the new mechanics used for objects in the level editor, which when completed, will allow users to selected multiple inputs and outputs for objects, as well as edit their size and direction. This is all ages away as well!
(You may also notice some glitches with my recording software)
In the meantime, keep testing! :)
